At each messabout we knock a boat over and see what happens.

There are many numbers of small paddle boats out there with the foam noodles stuck to the gunwales as their only form of floatation.

Tim Cowden found that they aren't worth a darn when just applied along the gunwale, just isn't enough floatation to provide reserve bouyancy.

Doing what he called a boyscout canoe trick, he sloshed the boat back and forth ridding it of water.
