Couple of years ago he built a model and brought it to the messabout.
As a side note, in that photo of the model, I am standing right behind Charles and you can see a portion of my hand. Ever seen Monsters Inc? Mike Wazowski ?


1 - The main hull does not have the designed foredeck, just a flat foredeck from the crossbeam forward.
2 - The amas and crossbeams are of Charles's design.
3 - The sail rig is a 90 sq ft balanced lug instead of a 69 sq ft sharpie sprit.
These were enough changes that Michalak would like it to be called something other than a Trilars.
