The community I live in has a small lake that is only 5 minutes down the road.
Great place to go paddle, water is usually pretty flat, no motor boats allowed.

I paddle to loudly, some birds spotted me from a distance.

Think that is a crane. In the far upper left corner is the tree where an eagle lives.

Beached on the south edge of the island in the middle of Lake Conroe

Some clear water today. Usually it is green and murky.

Paddling back to the ramp near the light house.
It is a 2.8 mile paddle one way.

At only 8' long, it sure is easy to find a parking spot in the garage on top of some shelves.
